Believe it or not, GOOD THINGS will be out tomorrow! I do believe it, even though it feels overwhelming and surreal. For a long time, I truly didn’t think I’d ever finish this book. It wasn’t until I started working with Aya and the equally talented and visionary designer Alvaro Villanueva, that I started to actually see the book begin to take shape. That’s when it became real. In the spirit of reflecting on the challenging yet joyful work that went into complete this book, and celebrating the many people who helped make it happen, I wanted to share this video with you.
Also, you can read an essay from the book about my Monday dinner family right now in the New York Times (along with a few favorite Monday dinner recipes)! This book came from my heart, and in many ways I owe the health and happiness of my heart to these folks. So it’s more than fair to say that there would be no GOOD THINGS without them.
