What's good is always so good!!

Yay for Rishi. I can totally hear his voice for an audiobook.

That picture with the guy and the tomatoes...it said "Laurel and Josh" and my head went "wha??" because that's my daughter and s-i-l's names. They must be good peeps!

Beautiful artwork...so good to read about.

And lastly...I'm so looking forward to the return of Home Cooking. Just recently got a note from a friend thanking me for turning her on to it and that she "loves Samin's laugh". Also...thanks to MY Laurel for turning me on to it to begin with.

Thanks guys!!

Thank you, Therese! We try hard to include the kinds of the things that we'd like to see!

Also, very good names for your kiddos indeed!

I tried to follow the link, and I have ended up on a page that says I've linked to something private? I am a paid subscriber, and I am confused. Sorry to post this here, but I can't find a support option to have this answered. Thank you.

Gosh, I think we could have been more clear that one must be a paid subscriber to Hrishi’s Substack, Accept Cookies — https://hrishikesh.substack.com/ — Sorry for the confusion, Sue.

Thank you for clarifying. We are retired, so I have a self-imposed limit of one Substack and one streaming service. Thoroughly enjoyed Home Cooking while out walking our dog this morning 🙂

That freezing tomatoes advice just made my day! Thank you!

I haven't canned a tomato in years!!

Bonus gift too good not to share with freezing tomatoes: it "freeze distills" them, meaning when they thaw you get the water separating out from the tomato bits. But don't throw that tomato water away! It's seemingly loaded with umami! I've used my thawed tomato water in doughs or drinks. It's pretty tasty.

EXCELLENT TIP! I have never heard of the term "freeze distilling," but yes, it makes perfect sense!
